Bounce Infinity Latest Updates:

Exciting news! The Bounce Infinity E1 scooter is set to introduce a higher-spec variant, the E1X. Anticipated upgrades include a larger battery pack and increased power for an even better ride.

Why to buy it:

1. Accessible buying options

2.Swappble Battery

3.Offers a comfortable ride

Why to avoid it:

1.Build quality could be better

2.Could get smoother throttle calibration

Visuals:

The Bounce Infinity E1 has a familiar look that may ring a bell—it’s essentially the i-Flow from 22Kymco. Bounce stepped in when 22Kymco ceased operations. But don’t worry, the E1 still retains its own identity.

From the outside, the Infinity E1 resembles a traditional scooter with a touch of modern flair. It opts for a contemporary styling rather than an overly futuristic design.

The Bounce Infinity E1 catches the eye with its sleek lines and sharp creases, adding an intriguing touch to its design. However, some elements like the retro bullet-shaped headlamp, while cool, might seem a bit out of sync with the overall modern look. Similarly, the round mirrors, though stylish, could pose challenges with their small size, offering a limited rear view and potentially creating blind spots

Despite being a new player in the market, our two-wheeler boasts decent quality and well-fitted parts. While there are some minor gaps in the bodywork and slight imperfections in the paint finish around bolts, overall, there’s little to complain about. The switchgear is responsive and user-friendly, as is the LCD instrument cluster.

The Package:

Our instrument cluster features a charming retro-style design and provides essential information such as battery percentage, range, speed, odometer, and trip details. While it offers the convenience of connecting to an app, the display itself is simple yet functional. Additionally, it indicates the scooter’s operating mode, with options for Power and Eco. Power mode allows speeds up to 65km/h (its top speed), while Eco mode limits speed to 41km/h, prioritizing efficiency

Our scooter comes equipped with an LED tail lamp and a stylish LED headlamp featuring Daytime Running Lights (DRL). Although we didn’t have the opportunity to test it during nighttime conditions, we anticipate that the setup would offer a satisfactory beam projection but may lack the wide spread required for optimal illumination.

Ride:

Designed to resemble a standard-sized scooter, the Bounce Infinity E1 offers easy access with its low 780mm seat height. The soft, well-cushioned seat accommodates both rider and pillion comfortably, with ample space for two. However, due to its width, shorter riders (under 5’7″) may find it a bit challenging to plant both feet firmly on the ground.

The Bounce Infinity E1 offers a comfortable riding experience overall, but taller riders may find the low-set handlebar uncomfortable during full lock turns. A tapered seat and slightly higher handlebar could solve this issue. However, the scooter provides ample foot space and storage, a feature often lacking in similarly priced EVs.

The Infinity E1 offers impressive ride quality, absorbing bumps well. Powered by a 1.5kW BLDC motor, it reaches 65kmph in Power mode and 40kmph in Eco mode, ideal for city commuting.

“Is it worth buying?”:

Bounce offers a unique buying option for the Infinity E1, starting at Rs 59,999 with battery and charger or Rs 36,099 without battery plus a monthly battery subscription. Compared to TVS Scooty Zest 110, E1 is Rs 8,500 cheaper, lighter, and smoother at top speed (65kmph). However, Zest 110 offers longer range (220km).

Bounce offers a solution to range anxiety with swappable battery packs available at convenient locations like pop stores and ATMs. Just swap the used battery for a new one at Rs 35 per swap, eliminating charging time. Exclusive for battery renters in Bangalore now, with plans to expand to major cities.

The Infinity E1 offers a likable riding experience with good comfort and city performance. While claimed range seems promising, extensive testing is needed. Some improvements in brake-throttle calibration and build quality would enhance the riding experience. Bounce’s success in expanding charging docks and dealer operations nationwide will determine its overall satisfaction as an electric two-wheeler.
