Canoo, the innovative electric vehicle (EV) startup, has officially begun deliveries of its Lifestyle Delivery Vehicles (LDV) from its newly established manufacturing facility in Oklahoma City. While the exact number of LDV units delivered to Oklahoma remains undisclosed, Canoo is gearing up for increased production, with plans to deliver “increasing units” in the coming year. The company’s commitment to job creation and investment aligns with the incentive agreements finalized earlier this year with the state of Oklahoma and the Cherokee Nation, totaling up to $113 million over a decade.
Canoo’s foray into the electric vehicle market extends beyond the LDV, as evidenced by the recent unveiling of the American Bulldog, an electric pickup designed for rugged applications. Derived from the Screaming Eagle model, which underwent testing with the U.S. Army in 2022, the American Bulldog adds a robust dimension to Canoo’s electric vehicle lineup.
